Sonnenstrahlen und Krebsvorbeugung

Vitamin D reguliert die Regeneration  und verhindert die Überproduktion von Zellen. Bei einer täglichen Menge an Vitamin D von 1.000 IU (International Units) reduziert sich nach jüngsten Studien das Risiko für diese Krebsarten um mindestens 50%.

Höhere (kumulative) UV-Exposition scheint ein protektiver Faktor gegen das Wachstum von Carcinomen innerer Organe zu sein.
